Pine Tar Salve

Pine Tar has been known for its antiseptic nature and wonderful for most skin issues. Pine tar, as well as pine oil, has a strong pine smell but fades off. Our pine tar salve can be used on hair as a scalp butter, pomade/butter, body as a lotion and on foot as a foot butter.

We had taken this up a notch by adding wonderful skin and hair herbs to this salve:

Black Walnut Hull: Black Walnut hulls have a long history in herbal medicine for hair and skin.

Horsetail Leaf: Ancient Greeks, Chinese, and Roman herbalists have been using Horsetail for its medicinal benefits for centuries. The high silica content also has a softening and smoothing effect on the skin. It is high in silica which is great for hair.

Mullein Leaf: Hails from Asia and Mullein is wonderful for the skin.

Burdock Root: In Europe, burdock root oil, also known as bur oil, is commonly used for hair and skin.
